Linescore® Screener Tests - Choose the Winners

Screening Tests are used when multiple concepts, names, packages or ideas  are to be tested. Screener Tests can test up to a dozen items depending on complexity.

Linescale Screener Tests show how many people are completely sold on each item with no problems- and what brands they use today. How many are on the fence? To how many does the item have no appeal at all?

Plus, Ratings show degree of appeal on three important attributes for each item.

Plus, Paired Comparisons show head to head preference for each item tested versus every other item in the test, including direct comparisons with the products currently used most often.

High Resolution Screener tests do all the above, plus show what the drivers of preference are and what needs to be improved

    Rating and ranking of up to a dozen simple ideas or concepts or eight more complex ideas or concepts to sort out likely winners from losers. You get a normative Linescore for each concept or idea. All ideas are compared head-to-head on each attribute rating linescale.

  • Linescore Proposition Screener
    Rating and ranking of up to a dozen selling propositions to sort out likely winners from losers. You get a normative Linescore for each Selling Proposition. All propositions are compared head-to-head on each attribute rating linescale.

  • Linescore Brand Name Screener
    Rating and ranking of up to ten alternative names to sort out likely winners from losers. You get a normative Linescore for each Name. All name alternatives are compared head-to-head on each attribute rating linescale.

    Rating and ranking of up to a dozen simple promotion ideas, or eight more complex promotion ideas, to sort out likely winners from losers. You get a normative Linescore for each Promotional Idea. All promotions are compared head-to-head on each attribute rating linescale.

High Resolution Screener Tests can test up to five items, including Ads, and in addition to quantitative scoring, also provide detailed  understanding of likes and dislikes, the key drivers of preference or rejection plus verbatim comments from respondents on why they liked or disliked the test item, providing useful high-resolution feedback to the developers
This stage is High Resolution since each idea receives, in addition to quantitative scores and ratings, a Driver Analysis identifying what's working, what's not working and relative importance of driving reasons behind acceptance or rejection for each tested item. Each respondent's verbatim comments on why they rated as they did are reported for high granularity insight. This is a screening test which also provides rich development feedback for refining and optimizing.
